A 34-year-old pastor from the Apostolic Faith Mission of Zimbabwe has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after being found guilty of incest.
The shocking case involves the repeated sexual abuse of his stepdaughter over two years, resulting in a pregnancy that was later terminated.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, the abuse began in 2022 when the victim’s mother left her in the pastor’s care.
The first incident occurred in his bedroom while they were watching videos. Over the years, the abuse continued at different locations, ultimately leading to a pregnancy in 2023. The pastor then arranged for the pregnancy to be terminated.
A tip-off led to an investigation, resulting in his arrest. After a court hearing, he was convicted and sentenced to 30 months in prison on charges of incest. Stay tuned for more on this story.
