Bulawayo to celebrate Women’s Month with “HER ART” Eziko Theatre Laboratory 16.2

Bulawayo is set to honor Women’s Month in style with the highly anticipated Eziko Theatre Laboratory 16.2, themed “HER ART.” The event, scheduled for March 28, 2025, at Nkulumane Hall, will spotlight the creativity, resilience, and contributions of women in the arts industry.
Organizers promise a vibrant celebration featuring a grand parade, live performances, and a photoshoot session—all led by women and dedicated to empowering female artists.
“We are thrilled to host this special edition of Eziko Theatre Laboratory, which celebrates the creativity, resilience, and spirit of women in our community,” said Hon. Desire Moyo, Member of Parliament for Nkulumane Constituency and a respected artist. “As a woman and an artist myself, I am proud to be part of this initiative that showcases female talent and promotes women’s empowerment.”
The event will bring together various creative and community organizations to amplify the voices of women through art. Key highlights include a Parade & Grand March organized by Vintage Culture Association, a series of Performances by Female Artists curated by Victory Siyanqoba, and a Photoshoot Session coordinated by Veins Media to capture the essence and power of female artistry.
The initiative has received strong community backing, with Eziko Theatre Laboratory partnering with prominent stakeholders, including the Office of Cllr Mmeli Moyo (Ward 22) and Maluka Designs, to ensure the event’s success.
Hon. Desire Moyo extended an open invitation to all women and girls in Bulawayo and beyond to participate in this empowering celebration.
