Police in Bulawayo have launched an investigation after the body of an unidentified adult male was discovered hanging from a tree in a bushy area in Northend on Thursday morning.
An anonymous tip-off received around 09:00 hrs prompted officers from ZRP Khumalo to respond to the scene.
The deceased was wearing black faded jeans, a brown T‑shirt, a green jacket, green socks, a black woollen hat, and white takkies. He was described as tall with a medium build.
“The body has been taken to United Bulawayo Hospital mortuary pending a post‑mortem examination,” said Inspector Msebele Nomalanga, Bulawayo Province Press and Public Relations Officer. “We appeal to members of the public with a missing relative matching this description to contact ZRP Khumalo on 0292‑260633 or visit United Bulawayo Hospital Mortuary for identification.”
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
