King Troy Teams up with Luchi Shiki and Fuel the Don on New Single

King Troy is set to release his new single, “Level Lothando”, on 6 March, featuring Luchi Shiki and Fuel The Don.
The collaboration fuses Afro-pop with urban sounds, blending traditional Zimbabwean rhythms with contemporary R&B and dancehall influences.
King Troy revealed he initially approached Luchi Shiki because “her energy is unmatched. I reached out to her team, and to my surprise, she loved the vibe!” ”Fuel The Don later contributed a verse that was not part of the original plan but “took the song to a whole new level,” he added.
The single’s production spanned six to seven months, covering vocals, arrangement, mixing, and mastering. King Troy described the creative process: “Balancing everyone’s creative input was a challenge… But that’s the beauty of collaboration, right? We found common ground, and the track turned out even better than I imagined.”
Luchi Shiki leads the hook, which King Troy says “just elevates the whole track… it’s like the song lifts off!” Fuel The Don adds a contrasting verse described as “unforgettable.” The lyrics explore emotion, connection, and personal experience, giving listeners space to interpret the song individually.
“Lothando” previews King Troy’s upcoming EP, Echoes, expected later this year. Reflecting on the release date, he said: “March 6th’s a date that means something special to me, and I wanted the song to feel like a gift… it’s about being present in a moment.”
The track will be available on all major streaming platforms, supported by social media teasers.
