The club emphasized that the unity, sportsmanship, and deep-rooted love for Highlanders demonstrated by the supporters were key factors in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere at matches.

This season’s accomplishment stands in stark contrast to the previous eight seasons, during which the club paid a staggering US$95,708 in fines due to crowd-related disturbances. The club acknowledged the significant financial and reputational impact of those incidents, highlighting how this season’s violence-free record represents a new chapter in the club’s history.

Highlanders FC urged their fans to continue upholding these positive values, reinforcing the spirit of Ubuntu. The club believes this milestone sets a new standard for future seasons, showcasing Highlanders as not only a football club but a symbol of peace and unity.
