On February 8, 2025, the United Zimbabwe Alliance (UZA) will host a community engagement event at Chikonohono Hall in Chinhoyi, themed “The Path to National Prosperity.” The forum aims to bring together various community members, local leaders, and stakeholders to discuss the urgent issues facing Zimbabwe.
Speakers at the event will include UZA President Elisabeth Valerio, members of the National Executive, and both provincial and local leadership. “Aligned with UZA’s vision for active participation in public affairs and nation building by the people of Zimbabwe, the event will provide a platform for UZA party members to meet local constituents and have conversations about pressing local issues,” stated the UZA in their release.
The United Zimbabwe Alliance says it remains dedicated to addressing community challenges and ensuring every Zimbabwean has a voice in shaping the nation’s future. “Our primary objective is to strengthen government accountability and community engagement as we shape a path to national prosperity for Zimbabwe,” the organization emphasized.
Community members, representatives from local organizations, and Zimbabweans at large are invited by the party to attend.
Founded on May 29, 2021, UZA was established by a group of citizens from various provinces in Zimbabwe who agreed that neither the ruling political party nor traditional opposition parties have successfully delivered the Zimbabwean dream.
