Bulawayo West Adventist Youth Empowerment to Host Youth Entrepreneurship Skills Expo

The Bulawayo West Federation Adventist Youth Empowerment is gearing up to host a transformative Entrepreneurship and Skills Expo day on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
The goal is to unite young people for networking and career prospects and to provide them with a forum to showcase their businesses.
The Entrepreneurship Expo will take place at the Pelandaba SDA Church, near White City Stadium. Participation for young people will be free, and all youth are eligible to attend.
In an interview with Matebeleland Pulse, Bulawayo West Federation Coordinator Jabulile Siwela emphasised the profound impact of the event, stating, “This is a life-changing opportunity for all young people to exhibit their businesses and gain insights from others. We urge every young person in and around Bulawayo to join us to exhibit, network, and explore opportunities at the Entrepreneurship and Skills Expo. There will also be experts offering career advice so students are encouraged to attend.”
Siwela further expressed, “There are no entry fees, and everyone is welcome to exhibit.The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.”
He also highlighted the necessity of such an event, pointing out the lack of platforms for young people to connect, learn, and explore opportunities in the face of escalating unemployment. Siwela underscored their commitment to establishing more platforms aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and empowering young individuals.
