Zimbabwean preacher and businessman, Prophet Uebert Angel says he has bought Bulawayo’s N1 Hotel and gifted it to his wife, Beverly Angel, as a birthday present.

In a post shared on his verified social media accounts, Angel announced the surprise gift while paying tribute to his wife.

“Happy Birthday, my love. Today I give you N1 Hotel. It shall now be called The Beverly Hotel.”

The announcement was accompanied by photos and videos of the couple at the hotel, with branding indicating that the property will be renamed The Beverly Hotel.

Angel disclose the purchase price to be close to USD 2 million dollars. As of publication, no official property records or public statement from the hotel’s previous owners had been released to independently confirm the reported acquisition.

If confirmed, the purchase would add another hospitality asset to Angel’s growing investment portfolio in Zimbabwe.

The prophet has previously announced investments in the country’s hospitality sector, including the redevelopment of Musimboti Lodge and plans for hotel developments under the Mozart and Beethoven brands.

The announcement has attracted widespread attention on social media, with supporters congratulating the couple.
