The event, presented by dancer and entertainer Sandra Ndebele alongside Zazalicious, returns following its inaugural edition in January 2025, which blended live music performances with a fashion-themed social experience.
The first edition featured local and regional acts, including South African musician DJ Tira and The Qwabe Twins, helping establish the concept as a distinct addition to Bulawayo’s entertainment calendar.
This year’s edition will be headlined by South African artist Dladla Mshunqisi, with additional performances by DJ Nospa, Prince Eskhosini, Crazy Dee and DJ Eugy.
For Bhila, being part of the lineup represents an opportunity to extend his reach beyond his usual performance circuits. “They are a good platform for an artist to take their music to a new audience and also to check how far their music reaches,” he said.

He explained that his inclusion followed a straightforward process. “I reached out, and they responded after a few days with an offer. I’m grateful for that,” Bhila said.
Looking ahead to the performance, Bhila believes the show will contribute to his artistic growth. “It introduces me to a new group of people who may support my music,” he said.
Asked why he believes he was selected for the lineup, Bhila pointed to consistency and the nature of his sound. “It’s the hard work, consistency and the type of music I make,” he said. “The music connects with different people.”
Despite having performed on various stages before, Bhila said he approaches every show with the same level of seriousness. “All stages matter,” he said. “You always need to improve on your last performance.”
He added that his appearance at Denim on Pearls will offer something different from his usual shows. “I will perform with a semi-live band,” he said.
